75th ANNIVERSARY OF THE PHILADELPHIA DAHLIA SOCIETY!!!!
The Greater Philadelphia Dahlia Society was founded in 1948 for the purpose of promoting the dahlia in its many forms and varieties. An annual Dahlia Show is held in September. Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, is kind enough to allow us to use their beautiful facility as a backdrop for the fruits of our labor. Anyone interested in growing dahlias is invited to participate in the Society.
All are welcome to join our dahlia society; our membership fee is very reasonable and entitles you to the newsletter and our four annual meetings.

2020 DAHLIA PHOTO SHOW!!!!!!!!
Although little about the year 2020 has been easy, our members managed to produce some beautiful dahlias. In addition to all the challenges of this unusual year, weather and other factors (many of us were asking if our dahlias had contracted COVID-19) apparently affected the timing of blooms and the health of plants. However, the dahlias prevailed and most of us are now reaping the rewards of our hard work.
Since we were unable to stage our normal show, a virtual photo show will take its place. Click the blue "Download" button below to see some lovely blooms!
